	New open access journal accepting submissions: Communications in Mobile Computing (ComC) Dear Colleague, I am writing to let you know about my new open access journal ComC, which was recently launched together with Springer at the Mobile HCI Conference in Stockholm. The journal is now accepting submissions and I would like to encourage you to submit your next article to the journal. ComC is a peer-reviewed open access journal, which will publish short articles in the field of Mobile user experience (mUX). It will be an outlet to bring research to the community quickly - enabling new ideas to get traction allowing researchers to share first-view thinking with their peers. The journal will be published under the brand SpringerOpen, Springer's new range of fully open access journals across all areas of science. By submitting your research to ComC you will benefit from: Open Access – articles are freely available online Rigorous peer review Publication speed - full publication within 4 to 6 weeks after submission Retaining the copyright to your article High visibility As with any other open access journal, ComC levies an article processing charge (APC) for each manuscript accepted after peer review. Please note that the APC will be covered by the journal until January 2012, so you can publish in ComC at no additional costs. Furthermore, all SpringerOpen journals are covered by our Open Access Membership Program. If your institution is a Member, the cost for the APC is covered in full or in part by the Membership.
