* Conference background and goals
IADIS Telecommunications, Networks and Systems 2008 conference covers
theory, design
and application of computer and telecommunication networks and systems.
During recent
years there has been an impressive increase in the use of networked
applications and
networks are now key resources in any information system configuration.
Wireless and
fixed-line networks complemented by a growing range of mobile devices
are having a
significant impact on the way we run our lives and our businesses.
* Format of the Conference
The conference will comprise of invited talks and oral presentations.
The proceedings of the conference will be published in the form of a
book and CD-ROM with ISBN, and will be available also in the IADIS
Digital Library (http://www.iadis.net/dl).
The best paper authors will be invited to publish extended versions of
their papers in a special issue of the IJBDCN - International Journal of
Business Data Communications and Networking (ISSN: 1548-0631).

Full and Short Papers, Reflection Papers, Posters/Demonstrations,
Tutorials, Panels and Doctoral Consortium.
All submissions are subject to a blind refereeing process.
