Conference Scope

Wireless communications is a primary solution to delivering broadband
services out of metropolitan areas, especially to rural communities, as
well as to providing emergency communications in support of public safety
services. Fast recovery of communications and dissemination of information
in times of natural and man-made disasters are fundamental to save lives in
situations such as floods and earthquakes. Communications in support to
public safety agencies and authorities can increase security of the
citizens, control accesses, and assist impaired people.

Original unpublished papers are solicited covering any of the following
topics. Papers should not exceed 5 pages in length, double columns, not
less than 12 pts. font.

• User requirements
• Wireless network architectures
• Radio channel measurements and modelling
• Propagation channel models
• Antenna issues in wireless communications
• Smart antennas and MIMO systems
